[HanCinema's News] Ji Jin-hee, Yoon Se-ah, and Kim Hye-eun Cast for "The Road: The Tragedy of One"

Studio Dragon recently announced their new upcoming project for the latter part of the year, "The Road: The Tragedy of One" which has been described as being about the ugly one percenters who live in the Royal Hills. Though comparisons are already being drawn with "The Penthouse" and its sequel, "The Road: The Tragedy of One" appears to have more of a focus on realistic social elements. It will also have far more emphasis on the actual jobs of the characters, an element largely absent from "The Penthouse 2" in its second season. "The Road: The Tragedy of One" will be the third confirmed project for Ji Jin-hee this year, following "Undercover" and "Move to Heaven" both of which have yet to begin airing.

The confirmation of Yoon Se-ah and Kim Hye-eun for the project, following controversy about the possibility that their upcoming drama "Snowdrop" has begged the question of whether the drama is likely to be canceled. Nevertheless, jTBC has continued to defend the controversy as stemming from an incomplete synopsis. And with no announced release window, "The Road: The Tragedy of One" could easily begin filming after that of "Snowdrop" has already been completed. "The Road: The Tragedy of One" will air on tvN.
