[HanCinema's News] Lead Actors of COVID-19 Adjacent Dramas Test Negative

On November 25th the productions behind the television dramas "Joseon Exorcist", "The Penthouse", "Hush" and "Mr. Queen" as well as the web drama "Lovestruck in the City" all announced that their leading actors had received COVID-19 test results as of November 24th. "Joseon Exorcist" was the first to publish the results. Lead actor Kam Woo-sung tested negative, but he and all other cast and crew will go into self-isolation for two weeks as a precautionary measure.

Information regarding "The Penthouse" was more broad, albeit to the same point. Uhm Ki-joon and Bong Tae-gyu announced negative test results through their agencies. Park Eun-seok announced his negative test through his Twitter account. These publications were motivated less by "The Penthouse" directly as they were a need for the relevant actors to clarify why they would not be fulfilling their stage contracts over the next couple of weeks due to self-isolating.

"Hush" confirmed that Hwang Jung-min and "Lim Yoona" both tested negative. Shin Hye-sun of "Mr. Queen" has also tested negative. Ji Chang-wook, Kim Ji-won, Han Ji-eun, Ryu Kyung-soo, and So Ju-hyeon of "Lovestruck in the City" were all confirmed to have tested negative. Other affected dramas include "Snowdrop", "Sisyphus: The Myth", "The Spies Who Loved Me", "Bossam: Stealing Destiny", and "River Where the Moon Rises". Production on all of these dramas is currently suspended.
