[HanCinema's News] Lee Jae-wook Thanks Fans for their Support

This past June 21st Lee Jae-wook made an hour long broadcast on the Naver application V LIVE. The video can be viewed in its entirity here, and subtitles are available in English, Indonesian, Spanish, Thai, and Vietnamese. According to Lee Jae-wook, he had been eating a lot and sleeping, but also started seriously exercising. He claimed to have no current dramas either shooting or even for script reading, and that he had grown his hair out as he wasn't sure how much he would need for his next project.

Lee Jae-wook also spoke to foreign fans, apologizing at one point for being unable to converse in English. Instructions given to fans included telling them to study rather than watch his broadcast if they ought to be studying, and to mind traffic signals. Lee Jae-wook also claimed to shower first thing in the morning, and told fans of all his roles, the one in "When the Weather Is Fine" is closest to his real personality, as he tends to be bright and tell jokes to his friends.

This was similar to Lee Jae-wook's behavior in the V LIVE broadcast, where fans also encouraged him to try and do a VLOG. But Lee Jae-wook demurred, citing COVID-19 concerns and specifically the logistical issue of having to wear a mask as an issue for him to do such a project. When fans asked since when Lee Jae-wook got so handsome, he expressed skepticism on the subject, saying there were far more handsome people than him. He thanked fans when they persisted in the compliment.

Lee Jae-wook expressed much appreciation to his fans, mentioning how he didn't even want to do his first V LIVE broadcast because he was convinced no one would come. In the end over fifteen thousand fans watched. The latest broadcast had over thirty-five thousand. Despite the lack of upcoming work, Lee Jae-wook was clearly emboldened by the support of his fans. His most recent project "Move to Heaven" started airing this past May 14th on Netflix.
