With the announcement of "Farmer's Academy Season 2" so too have new cast members been announced to supplement the actors and characters from the first season. Lee Jong-won-I of the web-dramas "Ghostderella" and "Our Baseball" will join the existing cast headlined by Lee Tae-hwan, Yoon Bo-mi, and Lee Min-ji.
The first season of "Farmer's Academy" dealt with the leading characters as new students at South Korea's only national university dedicated to farm work. The second season will deal with them in their third year as they are approaching graduation and careers as farmers.
Lee Jong-won-I's role in the new season will be as Woo-jin, a new student at the school enhusiastic for getting on with farming life. His character is expected to exude bright energy and act as a contrast to how the existing cast has changed since the first season. "Farmer's Academy Season 2" began its filming on August 14th. It is not known when the drama will see a release or in which formats.
