[HanCinema's News] Lee Joon-gi and Shin Se-kyung Considering "Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun"

On April 20th Namoo Actors announced that Lee Joon-gi, who is represented by the agency, had received an offer to appear in "Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun" in a leading role. Shortly thereafter EDAM Entertainment announced that Shin Se-kyung, who is represented by the agency, had also received an offer for a leading role in the drama. This is the first news of any kind about "Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun" in quite some time, as the project had been stalled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

"Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun" is the sequel to "Arthdal Chronicles" from 2019. The prehistorical drama starred Song Joong-ki and Kim Ji-won in leading roles. The news seems to confirm that the production is seeking out a new cast for the drama and will not focus on existing characters. This approach is not surprising, as even in "Arthdal Chronicles" itself leading cast members played different characters across different generations. No other new information about "Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun" is known at this time.
