In accepting the designation Lee Min-ho mentioned how he had much common ground with the educators at the conference. Lee Min-ho talked about how since his debut some thirteen years ago he had met many foreign fans, and that he was always touched when they tried to speak to him in clumsy Korean. It was with those thoughts in mind that Lee Min-ho decided to become an amabassador for Sejong Korean Schools and help with their mission.
Sejong Korean Language Schools are satellite schools across the world wherein students learn about Korean language and culture. They are officially sponsored by the South Korean government under the King Sejong Institute Foundation.
