[HanCinema's News] Park Yoo-chun Hires Attorney in Anticipation of Possible Drug Charges

2019/04/15 | 1691 views | Permalink

On April 15th, Park Yoo-chun's agency, CJS Entertainment, sent out a statement. In the statement, they assert that Park Yoo-chun has hired an attorney and that planned cooperation with the police will take place with legal advice.

It's a cautious approach compared to that many celebrities hit by 'Burning Sun' have taken as of late. Of course, Park Yoo-chun is not quite the celebrity he used to be. He never recovered from the damage done to his image back in 2016.

Park Yoo-chun is also not obviously well-connected to the 'Burning Sun' case. His name has only come up because his ex-girlfriend Hwang Hana was caught up in drug allegations. It remains unclear how much Park Yoo-chun is really connected with the case, as the alleged drug incidents would have started about the same time that the two broke up.

In any event, the police have put restrictions on Park Yoo-chun's movements pending the end of the current invesigation. Sooner or later, Park Yoo-chun is expected to have to interview with them.
