[HanCinema's News] Shim Jae-hyun Confirmed for "Alchemy of Souls"

On July 17th actor Shim Jae-hyun made his first appearance in "Alchemy of Souls" as the character Walpae. This was the tenth episode of the fantasy historical drama. The character Walpae dealt with the lead character played by Jung So-min, as part of a larger plot involving the pickpocket character played by Seo Hye-won-II. The two of them had interacted with one another in the past, and Shim Jae-hyun was cheerful upon locating her again.

The ensuing fight grabbed the attention of viewers, begging the question of who the actor was behind Walpae, as this role had not been announced ahead of the episode's screening. Shim Jae-hyun tends to work in musical theater. Most of his screen roles in recent years have been nameless, with only "Life on Mars" and "Big Issue" having clear titles. But with this exposure, many hope that we may seem him again soon. "Alchemy of Souls" had ratings of 6.958% in the episode featuring Shim Jae-hyun.
