"Hello, Brother!" Invited to New Montreal Filmfest in Canada

The movie "Little Brother" (directed by Lim Tae-hyeong) has been invited to the New Montreal Filmfest to be held in Canada starting September 18.

According to Kim Ji-seok, a programmer of the Pusan International Film Festival Organizing Committee, "Little Brother" has been invited to the competition division of the film festival entitled the "Iris Awards" Division. Thirteen other films have also been invited to this division. They include the Japanese movies "Skida" (directed by Hiroshi Ishikawa) and "Dead Run" (directed by Sabu), and the Chinese film "Brothers (兄弟, Xiong Di)" (directed by Zheng Nianping).

The New Montreal Filmfest is a film festival launched at the initiative of the Canadian government due to a conflict with the Organizing Committee of the Montreal International Film Festival. This year will be the first festival of the New Montreal Filmfest. The Executive Committee will be chaired by Moritz de Hadeln, who was previously the chairman of the executive committees of the Berlin and Venice international film festivals.
