"Hi Bye, Mama!" Lee Kyu-hyung, on the Verge of Tears

On the episode of the tvN drama "Hi Bye, Mama!" on the 15th, Kang-hwa (Lee Kyu-hyung) couldn't do anything since Yoo-ri (Kim Tae-hee) came back alive. He felt so complicated that he couldn't tell her family or Min-jeong (Go Bo-gyeol) that she was back. His emotions turned more complicated when Yoo-ri started picking up her daughter Seo-woo (Seo Woo-jin-I) from school. He knows that Yoo-ri is hiding something from him because she's avoiding him and not revealing herself to her family but he has no choice but to wait like she asked him.

At the end of the episode, Hyeon-jeong (Shin Dong-mi) is shocked to learn that Yoo-ri has to go back if she can't find her place in this life. Hyeon-jeong tried to alert Kang-hwa but Yoo-ri stopped her and said, "Kang-hwa loves Oh Min-jeong. There's nothing more important than that. I'm alright as long as he doesn't cry". Curiosity builds on the reason why Kang-hwa cries every day after Yoo-ri leaves and viewers cry at the sight of Kang-hwa after Yoo-ri's funeral. He can't help but cry along to a sad song and hardly breathe.

Lee Kyu-hyung connects the viewers with Jo Kang-hwa's emotions and turns him into someone who needs a hug, someone who looks sad in the eyes and looks bitterly sad from the back. Jo Kang-hwa from the past depicted by Lee Kyu-hyung is a character who deals with all the sadness of the world. Lee Kyu-hyung's tearful acting, which seemed to have lost the light of the world, makes viewers cry.
