Horror movie, 'The Mimic' starring Yum Jung-ah has finished filming

"The Mimic" has finished filming.

Director Huh Jung, well-known for his successful movie, "Hide and Seek", 2013, is coming back with his new horror movie, "The Mimic". The movie depicts a mysterious story about The Mimic, who mimics human voice to enchant people, and a family affected by the unknown creature.

Jangsan tiger, the mystic creature, of which tales have been told verbally, are known to be residing in the region around the southern Sobaek mountain area. The folklores say that the creature is in a shape of white tiger and mimics human voice to kidnap children.

Director Huh Jung said "I think the irresistibly fascinating voice itself is The Mimic. Those voices in the dark and the one person who did not believe any of those voices are the origin of the movie".

Yum Jung-ah plays Hee-yeon, a mother, who lost her child. Yum Jung-ah captivated the hearts of audience with her impressive and charismatic role in 'A Tale of Two Sisters'. Yum Jung-ah said the new movie is attractive and well equipped with the three elements: content, scenario, characters.

Park Hyuk-kwon plays husband Min-ho who stays next to his wife Hee-yeon, who goes through termendous stress after her child disappeared. He has been showing amazing activities in movies and dramas recently. Park Hyuk-kwon said he had decided to appear in this new movie because he had enjoyed watching "Hide and Seek" and had been paying attention to Huh Jung's tasteful directing style.

'Jangsan Tieger' will be released in summer next year.
