[Hot Takes from the Noonas] Go Kyung-pyo is Chae Soo-bin's leading man in "Strongest Deliveryman"

2017/05/16 | 2689 views | Permalink

Go Kyung-pyo graduates to male lead as a jajangmyeon delivery man in KBS drama, "Strongest Deliveryman".

"Strongest Deliveryman" tells the story of part-time workers trying to survive in modern-day Korea, where even people with the right specs have trouble finding jobs. The drama follows Choi Kang-soo (Go Kyung-pyo) a veteran jajangmyeon delivery man on his journey to become the CEO of a delivery company. The role of Choi Kang-soo was originally offered to Yoon Si-yoon, who turned it down in favour of variety idol drama, "The Best Hit". On the upside, Yoon Si-yoon's rejection gave Go Kyung-pyo his first shot at leading man, and the chance to be partnered with Chae Soo-bin. Chae Soo-bin is set to play Lee Dan-ah, a delivery woman too obsessed with money to care about romance.

Neither Go Kyung-pyo nor Chae Soo-bin is short on cuteness or comedic chops, so can I say I'm cautiously optimistic about this one? I mean, it sounds pretty cute.
