[Hot Takes from the Noonas] Park Seo-joon and Chun Woo-hee offered KBS drama

Offers are out to "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth" lead, Park Seo-joon and film actress, Chun Woo-hee for new KBS drama, "Fight For My Way". Both are still considering signing on for what promises to be a heart-warming drama about two underdogs fighting for their dreams.

While Chun Woo-hee's agency has indicated that she's considering the offer positively, Park Seo-joon's agency confirms that he has yet to see the proposal, with "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth" still on the air. "Fight For My Way" is set to air in May, so there's still some time before the drama needs to nail down its leads and it's entirely possible that the roles will go to two completely different actors. In the meantime, Park Seo-joon is up for the male lead, a temp office worker who peaked as a taekwondo champion in high school, but decides to rekindle his dream of going pro.

Chun Woo-hee is up for the role of a woman who dreams of becoming a news anchor, but works at a department store info desk. As a veteran film actress, "Fight For My Way" would only be Chun Woo-hee's third drama after "Vampire Idol" and "Marry Him If You Dare", and her first as the lead.

Provided that neither character has a terminal disease or some other depressing back story, the premise sounds both upbeat and touching, as both characters chase their dreams.

"Fight For My Way" is set to air in May on KBS.
