Westin Chosun Seoul

The Ninth Gate Grille of the Westin Chosun Seoul presents a six-course dinner using local Korean ingredients by inviting Thomas Buhner, the first German chef awarded three Michelin stars in the country, on Nov. 2.

His creations include shrimps and citron tea, marinated mackerel with wild sesame leaves, lobster bolognese, Korean black chicken, Korean beef steak with smoked tofu, and lychee sorbet. Buhner's restaurant in Osnabruck, La Vie, received three stars from Michelin in 2010 for the first time in Germany.

Sheraton Grande Walkerhill

Sheraton Grande Walkerhill provides environmentally-friendly electric car shuttle services to customers.

The automobile is propelled by electric motors, and the hotel has prepared electric charging equipment for the service. Besides the car, the hotel has adopted many green management ideas, including a new parking lot with solar energy generators that can produce 150 kilowatts of solar energy a day and light up 700 LED lamps.

Millennium Seoul Hilton's Italian restaurant Il Ponte presents Lombardy cuisine during November.

Chef Anita Bidini will showcase the northern Italian region's cuisine, such as pumpkin cream soup with parmesan cheese; buckwheat pizzoccheri with potato, cabbage, sage, Fontina cheese and butter sauce; grilled beef tenderloin with tomato and cheese sauce on saffron risotto; and red wine sabayon with walnut ice cream. A five-course meal is priced at 69,000 won.
