Hwang Jung-eum as a marine girl in "My Sister, The Pig Lady"

2012/10/21 Source

Actress Hwang Jung-eum is going through a massive change as "My Sister, The Pig Lady".

Sidus HQ announced this fact through media on the 22nd.

This is Hwang's first movie in 2 years. "My Sister, The Pig Lady" is about three single women who fight over a single man in a fishing village almost empty when it was once a famous fishing hot spot.

Hwang takes on the role of Jae-hwa. She raised pigs to support her parents and younger sibling Jae-hyeon. She is friends with Mi-ja (Choi Yeo-jin) and Yoo-ja (Park Jin-joo) with whom she fights with for single man Joon-sub who raises flowers.

Hwang takes off the cute and loveable look she's kept for so long and will put on a tough and bold character of a fishing village girl.

"My Sister, The Pig Lady" is currently in the making and will be released next year.
