Actress Hwang Jung-eum has been cast for the lead role of MBC drama "Can You Hear my Heart".

She has the lead role of tough girl in this drama by Producer Kim Sang-ho from "Fantastic Couple" and writer Moon Hee-jeong from "Smile, Love".

Hwang Jung-eum has gained popularity in the dramas "High Kick!" and "Giant" and she also has been very active in the commercial business, earning herself the name "Total Sale Girl". She expressed that she is very anxious as this is her first lead role and she will work very hard.

Meanwhile, she plans on starting the shoot for the drama as soon as she returns from America for a commercial.
