Hyundai Targets Young Customers with Small SUV

Hyundai on Thursday unveiled its new small SUV at a press event in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province.

The carmaker said it aims to sell the new entry-level SUV named "Venue" to young customers in their 20s and 30s.

Packed with a number of safety features to assist drivers, it is priced from W14.73 million to W21.11 million (US$1=W1,175).

"We have already received 3,000 pre-orders. We expect to sell over 8,000 units this year and 15,000 next year", a Hyundai spokesman said.
