Im Kwon-taek's Retrospective at British Fest

Three representative films by director Im Kwon-taek will be screened at the British film festival Firecracker Showcase 2005 next month, according to the Korean Film Council.

During The History Man in Firecracker Classics, the festival's special tribute to a director, Im's three films, "Jokbo", Gilsotteum" and "Seopyeonje" will be presented.

The annual festival was launched four years ago to introduce Eastern films to British viewers. Other South Korean flicks, such as "Old Boy" by Park Chan-wook and "Green Fish" by Lee Chang-dong, are to be screened at this year's festival as well.
