Im Si-wan decorated the cover of Big Issue, a magazine published on the 1st. This Big Issue 230 is significant as the 10th anniversary of the Korean version of Big Issue, a magazine for self-supporting the homeless that began in the UK.

Im Si-wan shot photos with a variety of concepts, from witty look matching pattern shirts and sunglasses to sexy mood look using leather shirts and denim shorts.

In an interview conducted after the photo shoot, Im Si-wan talked about his desire to act during his military career, "I got to go to the military when I was really enjoying acting. Acting was a desire for me because I found out I was being admitted just when I was learning the fun of acting", Im said, adding that the films "Road to Boston" and "Emergency Declaration" are set to be released this year.

"I didn't know anything about Seo Yoon-bok until I received the script and I didn't have much information about him even after I received the script", he said while preparing for the character of Seo Yoon-bok, a marathon runner in "Road to Boston", which he just finished filming. "So there were no restrictions on building characters. Since I don't have an existing image, I thought I could just act according to what I felt in the script", he said.

When Im Si-wan was discharged from the military last year, he donated his entire salary to an elementary school. In response, he said, "I didn't plan it. Many colleagues, seniors, and juniors were already donating a lot. Seeing this, I thought I should do it too. There are a lot of people who donate a lot of money, but I'm ashamed that I haven't done a lot yet".

The Big Issue No. 230, featuring Im Si-wan, included the 10th anniversary special "Big Issue 10 Years, Thanks to You" as well as interviews with Kim Jin-mi, director of the Women's Homeless Center "Open Welfare Didim Center" and Kim Kyu-jin, a lesbian couple. Big Issue can be purchased through street vendors in front of subway stations in downtown Seoul, and can be met through regular subscriptions in provincial areas. Online purchases are available at Big Issue Korea's online shops, Aladdin and Yes24.

Meanwhile, Im Si-wan is making the film "Emergency Declaration" and has confirmed starring in the JTBC drama "Run On".
