In 2009, Gift 'Korea'

'Are there any points that Koreans are proud of?'

Anyone, who had a trip to overseas, might imagined about the above question. There is an Eiffel Tower in France and The Statue of Liberty in America. What does Korea have, food, Hangeul (Korean alphabets), Hanbok (Korean traditional costume), or stars of Korean Wave?

For last few years, we had created a brand called 'Han Style' and have been working for advertising in Korea as well as overseas. We have opened Han Style Exhibition and set up a website for management and advertising. But recently a Korean enterprise has been working for sales of Korean culture.

Sandoll tium Inc., which has been marketing activities with Hangeul (Korean alphabets), has published '2009 Korean Agenda' to start advertising culture of Korea to the world.
'2009 Korean Agenda' is portable with light weight. It has been produced as a great system diary with unique cover design by emphasizing beauty of the Korean scripts. Ulreung Island and Dok Island have been clearly indicated. The inner pages have been composed by representative symbols of Korea. The Korea's representative images are Hangeul, Seoul, Korean Food, Jeju Island, Hanbok, Culture of Street Supporters of World Cup, IT & Pioneering Technologies, Taekwondo, Dok Island, Seolak Mountain, and Tal Dance. In order to help understandings of Korean culture, each contains a high quality photo with sentences explaining the symbol.

At the back of the agendas, there are various information of Korea such as locations and info of Korean embassies and consulates overseas, yearly Korean festivals and exhibitions, and foreign offices of tourism organizations.

Geum-Ho Seok, the representative director of Sandoll tium Inc. which produced the agendas, said, "Korean Wave has not been growing as previous years so we produced the agenda to help continuous growth of Korean Wave by getting out of the growth stoppage" and "Agendas are products that people use through the years so we hope foreigners will understand Korean culture by using the agendas for 365 days".
