Indiestory (Korea Independent Film Distribution Company) celebrates its tenth anniversary with events in Seoul, Lyon, and Hong Kong. Indiestory is unique in Korea as it is fully dedicated to the distribution of independent cinema.

In Seoul, Indiestory opened the Oh! Indieful Film Festival on 9 November and the festival is hosted at the venues Seoul Art Cinema, Indiespace, and Cinema Sangangmadang until 20 November.

At the 14th Lyon Asian Film Festival from 4 November until 8 November, Indiestory opened the special celebratory program titled 10th anniversary of Indiestory to showcase Korean independent cinema. The selected films were: "Hello, Stranger" (Kim Dong-hyun-VI), "If You Were Me - Anima Vision 2"(Ahn Dong-hee, Kwon Mi-jeong, Hong Deok-pyo, Jeong Min-yeong, Lee Hong-min, Lee Hong-soo, PARK Yong-jae, Ryoo Jeong-woo), and "WRITTEN" (Kim Byeong-woo). Both "Hello, Stranger" and "If You Were Me - Anima Vision 2" also competed in the feature film competition section.

Indiestory will also hold the short film program 10 shorts, 10 years. The ten selected short films are each representative of one year in Indiestory's history.

Indiestory's 10th anniversary celebration together with Hong Kong is opening its doors on 13 November and closes on the 19th. Indiestory is planning to return to Hong Kong mid-January next year with a special feature film program.

Distribution company Indiestory took another step in 2005, producing the independent films Sundays in Seoul and One Shining Day. In 2007, Indiestory was successful in producing and releasing the omnibus film "Fantastic Parasuicides" which was invited by the 12th Pusan International Film Festival, 37th International Film Festival Rotterdam, and the 6th Korea Film Festival (Italy).
