Jang Dong-gun, candidate for Heo Jin-ho's "Shanghai Project"

Actor Jang Dong-gun is positively looking through starring in director Heo Jin-ho's movie "Shanghai Project" ("Dangerous Liaisons").

Invested by the Chinese, "Shanghai Project" is based in the 1930s about the crossed love between a man and a woman. Along with Jang Dong-gun, other actors and actresses from China, Japan and Asia will co-star.

About this matter, his management AM Entertainment said, "We are going through the offers, but haven't confirmed anything yet".

If Jang goes on board, he will be the lead role in the global project in following the movie "My Way" by director Kang Je-gyu.

Heo Jin-ho has been creating mellow movies like "Christmas in August", "One Fine Spring Day", "April Snow" and more. He has also once done a collaboration with China on "Season of Good Rain" with Jung Woo-sung.
