Jang Dong-gun said, "I don't want my double eyelids'.. Complaining about his appearance

2010/11/18 Source

Jang Dong-gun talked about how difficult it was for him to live as a 'statue-like appearance' actor.

Jang Dong-gun appeared in 'Midnight TV Entertainment' and confessed that the main reason for his hard times was because of his appearance, which is too handsome.

In that day's interview, to the question why he always plays a strong character, he answered, “I thought that people only judge me by my appearance so I tended to go opposite to that.”

During the interview back in 1999, he complained, 'I have thick double eyelids. I hope I didn't have any.” This shows how hard he rethought about his appearance.

But Jang Dong-gun said, “I think I always shoot sad and dark films. From now on, I want to shoot movies that all people can laugh and enjoy.

On the other hand Jang Dong-gun selected Dong-soo from "Friend" as most memorable character, and the film that he selected for the most influence film was 'Nowhere To Hide'.
