Jang Keun-suk Warns to Stay Away From His Area of Service

Hallyu star Jang Keun-suk is currently doing his National Service as a civil worker, but he's giving warning to those fans who come to see him. He's usually very close and friendly with his fans so this is unusual.

The singer and actor was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and was assigned to civil service at the Seoul Fire Disasters Headquarters. Once this was revealed, Jang Keun-suk's agency put up a notice on his Japanese homepage for fans to stop visiting him at work.

The agency pleaded, "Please do not stand around to see him go to and from work or wait in neighboring buildings". It warned that such fans won't be able to continue as 'fans' if this continued. Fans who didn't abide by the rules would be kicked out of the fan club, banned from future concerts and lose all fan privileges.

This action was carried out to avoid harming those who work in the same place as Jang Keun-suk. It was not a request or a consent, but a warning.

Jang Keun-suk is discharged on the 15th of July, 2020.
