MBC reporter Lee Sang-ho, who is currently in charge of the program "Lee Sang-ho's News", claimed that the INS got involved with this case via Twitter on January 5th.

He aroused additional suspicion that the Bundang Police covered up the case by saying, "The INS is intervening with the late Jang Ja-yeon case" and "The INS intervenes illegally in the late Jang Ja-yeon's case".

As questions about the case followed from followers, Lee Sang-ho said, "I will report his on the news tonight (Jan 5th) at 6PM".

Reporter Lee Sang-ho once caused a big commotion with the 'Samsung X Files' in 2005. He was prosecuted after his report went out to the media. In the first round of court proceedings it was ruled as a justifiable act as the nation had the right to know about the issue and was found not guilty, but the second round of court found him guilty for illegal wiretapping and exposing participants' real names.
