Actor and singer Jang Keun-suk released his first EP album for China and Southeast Asia on Wednesday.
Jang, who has built up a huge following in Japan since his debut, is expected to attract more fans from across Asia with his first mini album "The Lounge H vol. 1" when it is released in the region.
The artist has already set the charts alight with his songs, topping the Oricon weekly chart with his debut single "Let Me Cry" in Japan last April and selling out tickets for his concerts including one held at the Tokyo Dome in Japan.
Starting with a fan club pre-sale on Wednesday, Jang's album will be made available to the public from Friday. It is already in hot demand with pre-sales of 65,000 copies.
"Jang Keun-suk is loved by fans throughout Asia as an actor and singer, and he will get to further expand his fan base all over the world including Asia with this album", said an employee at EMI, which is distributing the new album.
