Jang Keun-suk Japan tour DVD first place in Oricon Charts

2011/03/27 | Permalink | Source

A live DVD of Jang Keun-suk's Japan performance is at the first place in the Oricon Charts.

Last year in November and December he held a concert "2010 JANG KEUN SUK JAPAN TOUR" in Fukuoka, Sapporo, Kobe and Yokohama. The five concerts were all sold out and were broadcasted live on national TV.

The popularity followed in DVD's as well. The DVD with Jang Keun-suk's concert live ranked top place in the Oricon Charts as soon as it was released. Not only that, "Jang Keun-suk's Japan Tour Premium Edition" stayed in top place for two days straight.

Other than that, drama "You're Beautiful" with Jang Keun-suk in the lead ranked all of the 1st to 5th place in January and February, creating mass popularity in Japan.

Following the big popularity, Janh Geun-seok was to have a showcase in Tokyo on the 27th after releasing his debut single "Let Me Cry" on the 23rd. However, it has been postponed due to the unexpected earthquake and tsunami disaster in Japan.
