Jang Nara and Ryu Si-won draw thousands of Japanese fans

More than 3,000 Japanese fans flocked to the filming sites of the KBS TV2 series "Wedding", starring two hallyu stars, Jang Nara and Ryu Si-won, to see the two film the series' honeymoon scenes in Japan.

Jang and Ryoo, who arrived in Japan on Aug. 26 to film the series, were greeted by more than 1,000 ardent fans at Miyazaki Airport, who waved Korean national flags and held slogans written in Korean.

Accompanied by dozens of security guards, the two actors headed straight to the Sheraton Seagaia Hotel in downtown Miyazaki to hold a press conference. More than 3,000 fans as well as crowds of local journalists attended the event. The series two other lead actors, Lee Hyun-woo-I (who plays Ryoo's senior in the series) and Myung Se-bin, also participated.

Encouraged by thousands of Japanese fans, Jang and Ryoo worked hard filming various scenes at restaurants, golf courses, conference rooms and hotels despite a tight and exhausting schedule. The production crew of "Wedding" spent six days in Japan shooting honeymoon scenes featuring Jang and Ryoo, scenes featuring Lee and Myung's life in Japan, and conflicts that the four main characters face due to their past.

The honeymoon scenes will be shown on Sept. 12 (in episode 5) and Sept. 13 (in episode 6). The wedding scenes, which will be shot Sept. 4 at the Mayfield Hotel in Gonghang-dong, Seoul will be shown on Sept. 12.
