Jang Nara Stages Showcase in Beijing

Singer Jang Nara staged a showcase of her Chinese debut album on March 26 at 3 p.m. at the Wietan Stadium in Beijing, China. More than 5,000 of her Chinese fans flocked to see their favorite singer on that day.
A person from the singer's agency said that the showcase, which rounded out Jang's promotion tour, was a great success even though it was held just after China's nationwide representatives' meeting, taking local journalists and performance organizers by surprise. "We worried a great deal at first when we saw how huge the stadium was. We thought we would never have a large enough audience, but when we arrived at the stadium on the morning of the concert day, we felt relieved to see crowds of fans there", said the unnamed source.
He also said that the music was drowned out by a huge ovation from the crowd when Jang Nara appeared on stage. "It was awesome. We were all happy for Nara. The atmosphere was terrific as the audience sang 'Tianmimi' and 'Aitami' with her", he added.
Jang sang 21 songs at her showcase concert, which reached an impressive scale. Local reporters flooded her with requests for interviews after the concert, and Chinese performance organizers asked her to give concerts in 15 different regions of China by October.
