Japanese media report extensively on Bae Yong-joon's visit

The headline "Yonsama arrives in Narita Airport under wraps" appeared in the Sankei Sports, Nikkan Sports, Daily Sports, Sports Nippon and many other Japanese dailies after actor Bae Yong-joon made a surprise visit to Japan on Aug. 29.
"Although the visit was kept under wraps, some 600 fans flocked to Narita Airport to greet Bae, attesting to his deep-rooted popularity", wrote Sankei Sports.
Nikkan Sports wrote that "although the arrival time and venue were kept secret, more than 600 fans were waiting for Bae at the airport". The daily will also publish a three-day special on the actor from Aug. 31.
Prior to Bae's visit to Japan, the actor's agency posted a message on his official Web site that the schedule of his visit would not be disclosed for safety reasons.
Bae will participate in the premiere of the movie "April Snow" on Aug. 30 and various promotion events on Aug. 31. "
