Jecheon Int'l Music Film Fest to Open Next Month

The annual Jecheon International Music Film Festival will be held in Jecheon, North Chungcheong Province from Aug. 8 to 13.

This year's festival will feature 126 films from 36 countries and musical performances by about 30 bands.

British director Peter Webber's "Inna De Yard: The Soul of Jamaica", a documentary about reggae musicians and their lives, will open the festival.

Taiwanese composer Lim Giong, who composed the score for "Millennium Mambo" and "Still Life" will receive the festival's annual award for outstanding Asian film composers.
