Jeon Do-yeon Invited to Cannes' Jury

Jeon Do-yeon will become the first Korean actress to serve as a jury member at Cannes this year, organizers of the prestigious film festival announced on Monday.

She is the second Korean to get the honor after director Lee Chang-dong did so in 2009.
The festival often selects its jury members among award-winning actors or recognized directors, to evaluate competitive sections.
Jeon won the best actress award in 2007 for "Secret Sunshine" directed by Lee.
Another of her films, "The Housemaid - 2010", also competed at the festival in 2010.
