Jeonju Hanok Village Ever Popular Among Tourists

Tourists continue to flock to the southwestern city of Jeonju, North Jeolla Province to visit a village of hanok, or traditional Korean houses.

Over the past three years, the village has brought in more than 10 million tourists per annum. The city said on Thursday that over 136,000 of them were foreigners last year.

The biggest group or 41 percent were from China, followed by Japanese at 21 percent and Americans at eight percent.
