Ji Jin-hee Cast to Star in Hong Kong Movie

Actress Ji Jin-hee has been cast to co-star with Hong Kong actors Kum Sung Mu and Jacky Cheung in the movie "Perhaps Love", directed by Hong Kong film director Peter Chang, according to Ji's agency on May 3. Chang has directed high-profile movies such as "Tianmimi" and the "He's A Woman, She's A Man" series, which are well-known to the Korean audience.

"Perhaps Love" is a film-in-film story about three men and a woman named "Monti", played by Ji, who yearns for success and is still burdened by memories of her past love.

Chang highly praised Ji as a very diligent and warm-hearted actress with childlike curiosity and innocence. He said he particularly liked her "familiar" and down-to-earth looks that are not uniquely Korean and therefore very appealing.

The filming of "Perhaps Love" will begin on May 4. The movie will hit theaters on Christmas Eve in the United States and Asia.
