In "Casa Amor, Exclusive for Ladies", she plays a successful career woman who, after being fired over a mistake at work, enters a joint venture with a neighbor who runs a sex-toy business that's on the brink of going bust.

While it was quite demanding to perform a comic character in an R-rated film, Jo says, she found that making others laugh through her on-screen performance was a rewarding experience. "At a preview of the film, I realized how gratifying it is to see people laughing because of me".

"Casa Amor, Exclusive for Ladies" is a drastic departure for Jo, who admits she didn't think she was up to the challenge of performing in a comedy. She has never hesitated to try new things throughout her career, with each performance seemingly in a different register. But she took on the challenge wholeheartedly and remains excited to see what opportunities the future will bring. So how does she keep herself motivated?

"I think I'm energized by the people I work with, and luckily I've worked with great partners so far. You get to show a different side of you depending on whom you meet, and I've worked with great directors and fellow actors who could bring out all the different sides of me in various films. That makes it possible for me to keep on growing as an actress", Jo says.

""Casa Amor, Exclusive for Ladies" is the first film I've done in a long time whose story focuses on women. I hope that, building on the success of this film, more films featuring women's voices and experiences are made", she says.
