Ju Ji-hoon VS Cha Tae-hyun, threatens "The Thieves"?

2012/08/08 | 764 views | Permalink | Source

Actors Ju Ji-hoon and Cha Tae-hyun are competing with historical movies.

"I Am a King" by Ju Ji-hoon, which is his first movie in 3 years and Cha Tae-hyun's "The Grand Heist" stand side by side in theaters.

The two movies are alike in terms of times and comical elements. However, Joo, who is well known as the 'cold city guy' type, has to overcome the assignment of comedy and Cha is doing what he's best at.

Other than that, the two movies share another common factor in the idea that the creators' imagination runs wild, away from the typical memories of the past. "I Am a King" is about when Sejong was a prince, exchanging his position with a beggar. It reinterprets Sejong with the prince and the beggar.

"The Grand Heist" is a caper movie where various experts of different fields get together to steal ice rarer than gold. The cast includes Cha Tae-hyun, Oh Ji-ho, Min Hyo-rin, Sung Dong-il. Shin Jung-geun, Ko Chang-seok and more.

Freshness or safety, which one will the audience choose to watch first? The release of these two movies might cause an effect on "The Thieves" which is raging through the charts at the moment.
