The new SBS drama "The Legend of the Blue Sea" is being highly anticipated just by the news of Jun Ji-hyun and Lee Min-ho being in it together.

"The Legend of the Blue Sea" is a fantasy romance drama based on the first Korean historical story book about the last mermaid on earth meeting a fraud and getting used to life on earth.

Jun Ji-hyun and Lee Min-ho join forces with writer Park Ji-eun who wrote this unique drama with the subject being a mermaid.

A mermaid who comes to live on land and a cold and nasty fraud fall in love and we take a look at the world from the mermaid's point of view. The production aims to comfort viewers with this love story.

Jun Ji-hyun and Lee Min-ho play the roles of the mermaid and Heo Joon-jae. They are set to travel back and forth in time to create the perfect chemistry with each other.

Director Jin Hyeok says, "I can see them getting along because they are tall and handsome and pretty. When they're together, they give off an amazing aura".
