Jun Ji-hyun changed her mind about "My Love from the Star" thanks to Kim Soo-hyun

Apparently Jun Ji-hyun almost turned down "My Love from the Star".

Jun Ji-hyun rejected the offer for the dramas "The Fugitive Plan B" starring Lee Na-young and Rain and "My Girlfriend is a Gumiho" by Shin Min-a because they overlapped with the movie "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan".

Jun Ji-hyun almost lost another big hit and that is the SBS drama "My Love from the Star". Jun Ji-hyun refused at first and Kim Soo-hyun from co-starring movie "The Thieves", convinced her to change her mind. Jun Ji-hyun was the perfect Cheon Song-ee and was awarded several awards that year.

There is one more person who almost turned down a good offer and that is Shin Sung-rok in the role of sociopath Lee Jae-kyeong. He turned down the evil role and Park Hae-jin was nominated. However, Choe Min stepped down from the cast and Park Hae-jin took his place, bringing Shin Sung-rok back to his original role.
