Actress Jun Ji-hyun gave birth to a baby boy on Wednesday.
Her agency said the child was born in a hospital in Seoul and both the mother and baby are healthy.
Jeon married banker Choi Joon-hyuk, a childhood friend, in April 2012.
She remained active in films and starred in a number of hits including "The Thieves" and "The Berlin File", as well as international TV hit series "My Love from the Star".
She has limited her public appearances since the release of the film "The Assassination" in July last year because she was pregnant.
Jeon hopes to come back with a TV series later this year.
