Jung Daeun Confirmed for Kim Rae-won and Lee Da-hee's "L.U.C.A. : The Beginning"

Rookie actress Jung Daeun is starring in the new tvN drama "L.U.C.A. : The Beginning".

"L.U.C.A. : The Beginning" is about the last article of the declaration on the prohibition of genetically modified embryonic stem cell research, which was signed by scientists around the world, and involves the topic of 'willfully affecting the evolution of humanity' becoming a reality. Actors Kim Rae-won, Lee Da-hee and Kim Sung-oh have been cast already.

Jung Daeun takes on the role of Yoo-na, a former special forces in the same 'resolving team' as Lee Son (Kim Sung-oh) and is expected to put on a strong sense of charisma and action moves. This character is 180 degrees different from what she is normally used to, heightening anticipation for the character.

Jung Daeun said, "I am so excited and happy to be in "L.U.C.A. : The Beginning". Yoo-na is a character I've never played before and I'll do well to be well prepared and appear to be charming".

Meanwhile, Jung Daeun made an impression in the 2020 movie "Justice High" and is starring in the jTBC drama "Mystic Pop-Up Bar" this coming May.
