Jung Woo-sung scammed by broadcasting writer, no assumptions please

Actor Jung Woo-sung released a statement about his being scammed.

Jung Woo-sung's agency revealed on the 16th, "Jung Woo-sung met this writer in 2008 for a drama and have been friends before this incident. He was hurt but it's in the past so please make no assumptions about this matter.

A broadcasting writer was arrested for fraud by the Seoul Central District Court as revealed on the 16th.

According to investigators, the writer received 2.3 billion won (~US$2.3 million) from the actor under the pretense of investment in 2009.

This person of issue debuted as a broadcasting writer in 1993 and currently owns his own publishing company. He also is related with celebrity home shopping.
