JYJ Helps with Thai Flood Relief Efforts

Idol group JYJ have donated W200 million (US$1=W1,151) to the Christian charity World Vision to support efforts for Thailand's flood relief. The money will be used for emergency food aid, water treatment, mosquito nets and other daily necessities.

"We decided to do whatever we could to help as many fans have supported us from the region", the JYJ members said. "We hope that all our fans and Korean residents in Thailand get their lives back to normal as soon as possible and keep their spirits up".

Earlier this year, the group donated W600 million to build shelters for victims of the massive earthquake in Japan last March.
