The group's management agency WM Entertainment on Sunday said U.S. immigration officials asked one member of the band what her relationship was between staff at the management agency, and the member answered, "Sister".

The answer apparently aroused the official's suspicion, and he ordered the whole band to open their suitcases.

Unfortunately the bags contained some of the revealing outfits that have won Korean girl bands devoted followers across the world, which only deepened the officer's suspicions.

The problem, it turned out, was that the management agency had failed to get them entertainment visas, so they had no way of proving their innocence. It took 15 hours for the matter to be cleared up and the girls let go, by which time they decided to go straight back to Korea on the next flight.

WM Entertainment said it did not think to obtain entertainment visas for them since they were going to perform as part of a bigger production rather than playing a gig by themselves.

Oh My Girl debuted in April and has eight members between 16 and 21.
