K-Pop Contest to be Held on July 29th in NY

A K-Pop contest will be held in Manhattan, New York later this month as the spread of Hallyu or the Korean Cultural Wave shows no signs of abating.
The Korean Culture Service New York says that the contest, to be held on July 29th, will spread Hallyu to the US, in the same way as it has swept through Asia, Europe, and South America.
The concert will be extra special as only non-Korean nationals are allowed to enter.
Applicants are asked to post their performance video on Youtube and send their application to the Korean Culture Service New York's website by July 21th.
Eight selected performers will then take part in the final contest. and the winner will be flown to Korea and given the opportunity to compete in a world K-Pop contest in November.
