Kang Doo-ri committed suicide, according to police

The police claims that actress Kang Doo-ri took her own life.

Police sources announced that Kang Doo-ri who died on the 14th appears to have committed suicide.

"She didn't leave a will but she did send text messages to her friends implicating something like that. One of the friends tried to call her back, but when she didn't answer, the friend visited her house".

"The friend called the police around 4PM on the 14th and when the police got there, charcoal was all burnt up in the house. There were no signs of forced entry or struggles".

The text message implies that she was going through a hard time.

Kang Doo-ri's funeral will take place in Incheon and the send-off is on the 16th.

Kang Doo-ri starred in the 2012 movie "Touch - 2012" and became famous as an internet video blogger (BJ - Broadcasting Jockey). She also starred in the recent KBS 2TV drama "Cheeky Go Go".
