Kangta to Appear in Chinese TV Drama

Singer Kangta, whose popularity has soared in the Chinese-speaking region, will appear in a special TV drama that will be produced by Chinese broadcaster CCTV.
Kang's agency, SM Entertainment, said the drama will mark China's National Day on October 1.
The six-episode drama is about three sisters and their adventures in romance. Kang will play a top Korean singer named An Chil-hyun (Kang's real name), who loses his memory after an accident.
Kang drew the spotlight at the announcement of the drama's production by appearing in a traditional costume with his partner, Huang Sheng Yi.
Kang says he will be able to show his true individuality through his role in the drama.
The drama will air October 1 to 6 on CCTV, Channel 2.
