KBS Japan to Launch Next Month

KBS Japan will launch next month to boost Korean Broadcasting System's advance into the Japanese market.

KBS Japan will provide the network's programs to Japanese satellite and cable channels and IPTV, setting up a foothold for expanding Korean programming and pop culture.

The network and U.S. satellite service provider Echostar signed a transmission agreement last month after the launch of KBS America last year.
