KBS to Air Drama Jointly Produced with NK

A television drama produced by North Korea's Korean Central Television and funded by KBS will go on air in August.
The show "Sayuksin", which tells the story of six martyred Joseon Dynasty ministers who were executed in 1456 for their failed attempt to restore King Danjong to the throne, features North Korean actors. KBS shouldered the production costs and provided equipment for the drama.
The drama is the first to be outsourced to North Korea by a South Korean broadcasting company.
