KIAFA's new CEO Na Gi-yong director

Korean Independent Animation Filmmakers Association promoted director Na Gi-yong for a new CEO.

KIAFA announced on 24th annual meeting of shareholders at Seoul Animation Center elected director Na Gi-yong for a new CEO, so director Na Gi-yong will be 2nd CEO follow to the first generation CEO Lee Yong-bae.

Also director Lee Youn-bin for vice-president and Kim Sang-hwa, Kim Hong-joong, Min Jae-woong, Jang Hyung-youn, Jeon Seung-il, Jung Yeon-ju, Jung Dong-hee, Choi Min-kyu, Choi Soo-in, Hong Dyuk-pyo directors were elected to the board of directors.


The new CEO Na produced animation "Subway", "Lost Box" and concentrated on studying animation.

Especially won grand prize, director award and sound award at 1995 1st Seoul International Animation Festival, entered the final selection 1996 in Canada Ottawa International Animation Festival. Also has been played in 1996 Japan Hiroshima International Animation Festival. At present he is an associate professor at Chungkang College of Cultural of Industries, last year vice-president at Korean Independent Animation Filmmakers Association.

Na Gi-yong said "with lot of young directors' participation, we want new and novelty in Independent Animation.
