Kids World Cinema: Korea & Spain (Sunday, April 22, 2012)

Join us for a free afternoon of film, fun, and festivities for kids! As part of Kids World Cinema 2012, the Korean Cultural Center is teaming up with the Embassy of Spain to present a collection of short Korean and Spanish films just for kids, followed by a group discussion and cultural activities.

Children will learn about Korean and Spanish culture in a fun setting, and see how even though kids in other countries may not speak the same language, they are not so different. Children and parents of all backgrounds are welcome to participate. Intended for children age 6-10, but slightly younger or older children are also welcome.

Where: Korean Cultural Center, Embassy of the Republic of Korea (2370 Massachusetts Ave. NW Washington DC)
Getting Here: The nearest metro station is Dupont Circle, from which the KCC is located about a 15 minute walk away, heading Northwest on Mass Ave. Guests can also park in the KCC lot directly to the left of the building during the event (parking is first come, first serve).

How to Attend:

In order to attend, a parent/guardian must RSVP for each child or group of children by completing the form below. One parent/guardian can RSVP for up to 4 children. Adults may accompany children during the event (a separate adult space will be available), or drop children off by 2PM and pick them up by 3:30pm. Children under age 6 cannot be dropped off and must be supervised by an attending adult. Adults who attend must be accompanied by at least one child. Each parent/guardian must agree to the release terms stated at the end of the form below.

Metro: The KORUS House is about a 15 minute walk from the Dupont Circle metro station, heading northwest on Massachusetts Ave. Metrobus lines N2, N3, N4, and N6 stop nearby at Embassy Row.

Parking: Guests are welcome to park in the small lot adjacent to our building during the event, but space is very limited and first-come-first-serve. There is also some street parking in the local area.
